Comparative to the Gursky exhibition, the photographer gallery felt more informal and intimate. What I had envisioned before visiting the gallery was quite different; although it spanned over 4 floors I did expect it to be larger.
The work on display had a certain theme; exploring the history and the conversations surrounding sexuality, feminism and drag culture, and the evolution to current day.
Being a highly political person myself, I enjoyed this work and the purpose they serve.
Additionally, I found interesting ways of how to display work/photographs when exhibiting which will impact my future decisions.
